We were disappointed to waste 3 hrs of our vacation time getting to/from this dock area and to not be able to see luminous waters. I played nicely to get in the car and get back to the hotel as quickly and safely as possible. There were people outside around fire pits, police in Jeep, ladies that looked like the worked for the evening and just not a place that I would want to be left. I was concerned that our driver or Errol would not be there when we got back and we'd be left in a very horrible area. The passengers loading were getting no instruction and it looked like the weight capacity was exceeded. ![]() The “guide” (Dennis) we were handed off to on arrival was not sober and his instruction made no sense which added more concern. The boat launch dock area was in major disrepair as were the boats that it made me concerned to get on a boat and leave land with these people. ![]() I aborted and asked driver to take us HOME because I feared for my family’s safety (family of 4 with a 16 and 18 year old). This also gave us a negative vibe about Jamaica since it was our second day.ĭO NOT SELECT THIS TRIP. We have used Viator about 8 times in Mexico and in Jamaica and this was the first time we did not tip. My poor husband was thrown off, on his birthday! They seemed to be nicer to the others and not us, yelling, maybe if the photographer was not focused on flirting, we would have gotten better pictures, it was to the point where he didnt want to talk to us and only charged $10 for all to get out of his hair so he could continue his "romance" vibes. We were told to "SHUT UP" and let them try it themselves, for the record, 5 of the 6 other passengers got in the water. although the waters were not up to our expectations, we were the first off the boat, told to hurry and when other passengers on the boat asked how was the water how was the bottom, my husband and i both responded positively saying it was great and they should try it. Where I will place blame on our negative experience was it was the day of my husbands birthday and I thought this would be something nice and cool to do. First off, because of the rain, the waters were not glowing like you see in other photos, that is no ones fault which I will not place blame. The driver was fabulous! Dennis, the individual that welcome us, fabulous. I am writing these review, after being told not to say anything if we had a bad time, which we did. ![]()
